James Hagan is an outstanding voice coach and well-known and busy actor.

Teacher

James is a highly regarded teacher of voice. He is a committed and passionate teacher with a great ability to inspire his students and to support them from his wealth of professional experience. James is dedicated to persevere with students whom lesser teachers might give up as a bad job.

Stage Actor

For his appearance as abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko in John Logan's play Red, James received excellent notices from local critics David Zampatti and Jan Hallam, with the former calling him ‘mighty'. From 9 December 2011 James played panto dame Widow Twankey in Aladdin, at the Metcalfe Theatre.

Screen Actor

James's most recent film role was that of the Police Commissioner in Geoff Bennett's film The Great Mint Swindle (2012). Other film successes include the leading role of the father in Little Sparrows, which was screened at the Rome International Film Festival, and as the mysterious murderer in Needle. IMDb entry.
